Hello! I graduated from the University of Denver in June 2019. I have a Bachelors of Arts majoring in Political Science with minors in History, Economics, and Spanish. I would get more minors in a heart beat if only I had more time. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. While at DU, I researched with a few professors and the Center for Community Engagement to Advance Scholarship and Learning (CCESL). I also interned at nonprofits in the broader Denver community. I was fortunate enough to travel abroad three times with DU to Spain, Sweden, and Rwanda for varying lengths of time to pursue my academic and personal interests. This summer, I am working on my CELTA certification in order to teach English in China this coming year.
As a Colorado native, I like returning to Crested Butte where I grew up to ski and hike. I sing in Lamont Women’s Choir as an Alto I. I also love beatnik literature and visiting the literary scenes where I envision the Ginsbergs and Kerouacs of the 1950s and today showcasing their art. I like long layovers and black coffee.
